Over the last week, many NHL players took part in what should have been pre training camp workouts. A small, cruel reminder of what we almost certainly will be missing until a new CBA is agreed upon.
Now here we are, less than fifteen hours away from yet another lockout and a potentially missed season.
If you listen to the many player interviews, there is little to no optimism that a deal will get done today, and the way things have played out to this point, there is no reason that there should be.
Stay tuned here for all of the CBA news and player movement that will take place between now and midnight tonight as this column will be updated as things progress, assuming they progress at all.

12:07 pm est: NHL and NHLPA have meet informally today and will do so again later today. Nothing formal scheduled.
2:25 pm est: Sabres sign forward Tyler Ennis to a 2 year contract worth $5.625 mil.
4:05 pm est: NHL announces that no formal talks will take place prior the the current CBA expiration. The lockout cometh.
5:35 pm est: Ducks sign Cam Fowler to a 5 year, $20 million contract.
